Our story began in 1992 in Timișoara, when the current managing director, together with three other professionals, founded the first private medical testing laboratory, Biomedica. Together, they laid the foundations for what was to become the standard in clinical laboratory services. It wasn’t long before, in 1997, we opened a new laboratory in Arad. We can proudly say that we are pioneers of the private healthcare system in Romania, and even though the Biomedica team faced a number of obstacles, it managed to overcome them and maintain its high standards of quality in testing. We believe that as long as you put your heart and soul into what you do and approach everything with professionalism, the path to success is assured. And because we felt we could be closer to our patients with a name that better defines us, in 1998 we decided to change our name from Biomedica to Bioclinica.
