About Prospero

We are not perfect, but we try to do the right thing.

Prospero is an artisanal bakery-confectionery from Timisoara. Prospero Bakery and Confectionery Laboratory are located in the Calea Torontalului Industrial Park, but the products reach customers every day fresh through the 19 presentation stores in the city, with the help of colleagues from the sales teams on each store.

We have chosen to work responsibly, with natural ingredients, without unhealthy shortcuts, premixes, additives, taste enhancers and other modern ingredients that guarantee today the uniformity of products, speed in the process and decrease the chances of error. In a world of speed and automation we make bread with our hands and patience. We leave it to rise for a long time to develop its aromas, we take each piece in our hand, we weigh it, then we shape it and we leave it to rest.

We want a healthier, more beautiful and cleaner world. We produce naturally for a more delicious and healthier present, for a healthier future for us and for future generations. We are a small company with big dreams, based on people who believe in what they do and want to make a difference through their work.

What do we produce?

Prospero Bakery is good and directs 30 varieties of artisanal breads with natural maya: some varieties without commercial yeast, the rest with a very low percentage of commercial yeast. We privilege the process and the benefits that fermentation brings in terms of consumer health. We strongly believe that #bread also contains a correct bread (real ingredients, natural fermentation and fermentation process) is the basis of a healthy diet.

We work with natural maya grown and fed in our bakery, without breeders, preservatives, dyes, mixes, without purchased maya.

Pastry and confectionery with butter and whipped cream. Cakes with butter and real walnuts, gluten-free biscuits, crackers with seeds, we look for each ingredient to have a value added for the body. In the confectionery we apply the same principles that we have in our bakery: real ingredients, without unhealthy shortcuts. Our Dobos (40 layers cake, not counting the caramel lid) makes history along with established cakes at Prospero Delicii: meringue cake with nuts, Nina cake, range of cheesecakes or cake Ciocolatos (3 types of chocolate in one cake).
